Dear Christ, what can I say about stage managing that hasn’t been said anywhere else?
How about don’t do it if you’re a student, English writing studies major, have three projects due within days of each other, and the performances are right before finals week.
Seriously, and people keep changing up due dates on me, so when I finished and printed a final copy of a paper that I thought was due today, April 29, 2014, I found out that it was actually due Thursday. Last week I had a project I thought was due Thursday and rushed to finish it after losing all progress on Wednesday. No, it’s actually due this coming Thursday too. And don’t get me started on finding time to study for finals. Thank God my Science Fiction professor told us what the three questions on the final are going to be about: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Eater, and three short stories he gave us. So I don’t have to waste time studying the other books we read this semester.
Oh, and I have to do a presentation during lab about chocolate slime and I have no idea what’s scientific about that. I should probably look it up rather than write this post.
Anyway, enough complaining about my life. Come and see Our Town at Millersville University in the Winter Center on May 1-4, May 1-3 at 7:30, May 4 at 2:30. Tickets are $10 I believe. I’ll either be in a cute little dress or a suit depending on how I feel like presenting that day.
